Admittedly, I have a thing for cardigans.  I realized this the last time I cleaned out my closet and discovered that I own at least 20.  You can never have too many cardigans!  I know that I am in good company with this fashion philosophy because our stylish First Lady, Michelle Obama, is also a big fan of the cardigan. 

I love cardigans because they are seasonless.  You can wear the same cardigan in the heat of summer over a sundress that you wear in the winter layered over a turtleneck.  I love cardigans becuase they are so versatile.  You can wear a cardigan buttoned up with a brooch on the shoulder and be all lady.  Or layer the same cardigan over a tank top with layers of  funky beads.  I love cardigans because the button front or zip closure paints vertical lines on my petite figure and elongates my short body frame. 

A classic cardigan offers the perfect canvas for self-expression and never goes out of style.
