A top that falls above your hips is usually the best look with a capri pant. To minimize the fullness in your bust, I would recommend v-necklines, vertical patterns, and darker shades of color on top.

An alternative to wearing shoes or sandals that match the color of the capris is to wear neutral/nude color shoes that blend with your skin tone. This trick works across the board - pants, skirts, dresses - to elongate the leg.

I'm 5'1 and capris look horrible on me. Would NEVER wear them. Probably because I'm shorter on the bottom half. I don't like oants anyway so it works out well for me. But true, capris aren't for everybody.

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I enjoy seeing websites that understand the value of providing a prime resource for free. I truly loved reading your post. Thanks!

Thanks so much for you comment. As for length, just be sure the capri hits at the most flattering part of your calf. For a heavy calf, wear capris a bit longer.

I agree. Keeping the shoe the same color as the capri works. I wear mine with heels and prefer my capri's to be very slim fitting at the bottom. What is the most flattering length?
